Patient Care Coordinator
Annette grew up in Brockton, MA where she started her career as a kennel attendant at a local animal hospital. Not long after, she assisted in exam rooms and became interested in becoming a veterinary technician. She studied for the National Veterinary Technician Exam, passed the test, and earned the title of certified veterinary technician. Eventually, Annette had more interest in the surgical side of veterinary medicine and was employed at specialty practices as a surgical technician for many years. In December of 2013, she became a member of the Duxbury Animal Hospital team where she is now the patient care coordinator and enjoys caring for hospitalized patients and making sure they are comfortable. When at home Annette tends to honeybees, chickens, a small fishpond, and a polydactyl cat named Rocky who was adopted from the local shelter.
