Dawn’s journey in veterinary medicine began in 2003 when she started as a kennel tech while pursuing her animal health certificate at Davidson Community College in North Carolina. She quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a kennel manager and receiving training as a veterinary assistant. Dawn has remained dedicated to the field ever since. In 2012, she returned to her hometown in Massachusetts to start a family, and she now resides in Hanson, MA.

Dawn joined our practice in 2005 as a veterinary technician and has steadily progressed, serving as customer service manager and practice manager. While she currently manages our practice, she still actively works as a veterinary technician, reflecting her ongoing commitment to the profession. Dawn’s enduring passion for veterinary medicine is evident in her dedication to the welfare of our animal patients.

Cindy graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in business management but quickly learned that the corporate world was not for her. An animal lover since childhood, she decided to switch gears and entered into the veterinary world. She joined the Duxbury Animal Hospital team in 2022, bringing with her 20 years of experience in customer care.

Cindy currently resides in Plymouth and spends most weekends hiking, biking, paddle boarding or kayaking with her husband and son. Her extended family includes a “dog-like” cat named Walter and an English Bulldog named Izzy.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Born and raised in Marshfield, Kerry has dedicated over 20 years to the veterinary field. She began her journey as a receptionist and quickly advanced to become a skilled Veterinary Technician. In 2020, she earned her certification by passing the VTNE, solidifying her passion and expertise in animal care.

Kerry shares her home with her beloved trio of dogs: Yeti, a Chinese Crested Powderpuff; FireBall, a spirited Teacup Poodle; and Trumpette, a classic Chinese Crested. She has a soft spot for senior small dogs—the older and crustier, the more lovable they are in her eyes.

Outside of work, Kerry enjoys soaking up the sun at the beach, paddle boarding, reading, and listening to country music. Whether she’s outdoors or relaxing with her dogs or friends, she finds joy in life’s simple pleasures.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Sarah is a Certified Veterinary Technician with a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology and seven years of experience in veterinary medicine. She takes pride in providing compassionate, attentive care to every patient and helping them feel as comfortable as possible during their visits.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys hiking with her dog, camping, and spending time at the beach. She is a proud pet parent to Sarge, her dog, and Miss Buns, her rabbit.

Jennifer Longmore is a dedicated Veterinary Technician with a passion for animals, particularly seniors. She is a longtime member of the team here at Duxbury Animal Hospital.

Beyond her professional life, Jennifer opens her heart and home to a furry family of four cats and two senior dogs, providing them with a life filled with love and care. Jennifer’s commitment to senior pets is truly inspiring. She understands the unique challenges they face as they age and tirelessly advocates for their well-being.

Alicia grew up in Carver, MA and has a family of Papillons that she cares for in her spare time.

With a passion for animal care and a wealth of hands-on experience, I am proud to serve as a Veterinary Technician. I honed my skills through completion of a comprehensive veterinary assistant program at Animal Behavioral College. Over the past seven years, I’ve dedicated myself to the well-being of animals at Duxbury Animal Hospital, where I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a team of dedicated professionals. My commitment to compassionate care and proficiency in advanced veterinary techniques allows me to contribute to the health and happiness of every furry friend that walks through our doors.

Lori has been a veterinary technician since 2022, and has been with Duxbury Animal Hospital since 2023. Prior to becoming a veterinary technician, Lori worked in Human Medicine in the Emergency Room.

After some time staying at home to raise her son, Lori was interested in switching to a field she is very passionate about and be an advocate for animals that can’t advocate for themselves.

Krystyna is a veterinary technician based in Plympton who joined Duxbury Animal Hospital in 2024. With a strong passion for animal care, she brings hands-on experience working with a variety of animals, including small pets and exotics. Outside of work, Krystyna enjoys competitive horseback riding and spending time with her husband David, their four daughters, three dogs—McGee, Gronk, and Denver Waffles—and two horses, Tango and Swing. She is committed to providing compassionate care and continuously growing her skills in veterinary medicine.

With more than seven and a half years of experience in veterinary medicine, Valerie is passionate about providing quality care to both healthy and sick pets. She takes pride in helping solve problems, supporting her patients, and improving their overall quality of life.

Outside of work, Valerie enjoys gardening, cooking and baking, and crafting. She is also a proud pet parent to two dogs and two cats.

Veterinary Technician

Kim has been a veterinary technician since 2022 after finishing her veterinary assisting program at Bristol Community College. She has been at Duxbury Animal Hospital since 2023. She was drawn to the field by a deep compassion for animals and a desire to give a voice to animals that cannot speak for themselves. At home she has 2 young cats and a small senior dog. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, gaming, spending time with her animals, and baking.

Client Care Specialist

Residing in Plymouth, she boasts a career spanning various facets of animal care. Initially, she served as a technician for seven years, before venturing into entrepreneurship. Denise established and successfully managed her own grooming business for just over two decades while raising her boys.

Subsequently, Denise returned to the veterinary field, gaining valuable experience working with Dr. Berridge. She worked through the transition of ownership with Dr. Hebert, eventually assuming the role of practice manager, which she handled for multiple years before becoming our Client Care Manager.

Denise’s family currently shares their home with an older puggle, wonderful cat, and a flock of chickens.

Catherine grew up on Cape Cod and always knew she wanted to work with animals. She gained experience in several areas of the animal care field, including working at a dog daycare, grooming salon, and emergency veterinary hospital, before discovering that general practice was the right fit for her.
Catherine joined Duxbury Animal Hospital in January 2026. She currently lives in Hanover with her son, boyfriend, and three dogs, Peaches, Snowball, and Lucky.

Outside of work, Catherine enjoys kayaking, spending time at the beach, and practicing yoga.

Client Care Specialist

With over 10 years in veterinary medicine, Tawny loves being part of the connection between clients, their pets, and the veterinary team. As a Client Care Specialist, she takes pride in being a friendly first point of contact, supporting her coworkers, and helping keep the hospital running smoothly throughout the day.

When she isn’t at the hospital, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring hiking trails, rock climbing, getting lost in a good book, attending live music, and playing the occasional video game.
